The Michigan Distributors and Vendors Association (MDVA) is a non-profit, statewide business association representing two very significant business segments in the grocery and convenience products industry.

MDVA Distributors are wholesale distributors of grocery and convenience products to the retail marketplace.  We are licensed Michigan tobacco wholesalers and tax collection agents for the state.  In 2010, we collected almost $1 billion for the state in cigarette and other tobacco-product taxes. Our wholesale distributor members service retail accounts in every county in the state.

MDVA Vendors are the vending machine and food service operators. Our vendor members operate snack, beverage, and food machines, as well as office coffee and food service programs throughout Michigan.

MDVA Members are the vital link between manufacturers and the retailers of products consumers purchase every day.  Our Members’ trucks deliver products to convenience stores, grocery stores, gas stations and other accounts all across the state. Our 110 Members and Associate Members employ more than 2,000 individuals statewide, with an annual payroll of $150 million and more than $3 billion in annual sales.
