As chairman of the Michigan Distributors and Vendors Association (MDVA), I am very proud of all our association accomplishes on behalf of our industries and our individual businesses.  We have created a strong successful lobbing effort with the commitment and active participation of our membership.  The successes we have experienced with our legislative efforts have paid off in huge dividends for our industries and our individual businesses.

Michigan is experiencing hard economic times and all our businesses are feeling it.  Some of our member business have had to tighten their belts and cut costs in order to survive.  However, membership in the Michigan Distributors & Vendors is not a cost you can afford to cut.  Your MDVA membership is an investment in the viability of your business.  One legislative win, or regulatory intervention can more then pay for the annual dues many times over year after year.

In 2006, the MDVA Board of Directors restructured our members' dues structures; for both wholesale distributors and vending operators.  The dues structures now provide for more opportunity for smaller business in our industries to join.  Please encourage any businesses in our industry you may be aware of that are not members of MDVA, to join our efforts. And don't forget to tell them that the return on the investment is huge!
