In addition to killing many potential devastating bills every year, we have achieved the following legislative victories in past years: | | P.A. 417, of 2000, exempted vended pop from sales tax. | | | | P.A. 63, of 1995, exempted vended bakery products from sales tax. | | | | P.A. 576, of 1996, redefined sales tax exemptions of all vended products. | | | | P.A. 187, of 1997, implemented Michigan's cigarette tax stamping program. | | | | P.A. 60, of 1998, protected vendors from state audits of sales tax exemptions. | | | | P.A. 368, of 1998, prohibited gray market cigarettes in Michigan. | | | | P.A. 182, of 1999, tightened Michigan's prohibition of gray market cigarettes. |
